Bolton are down to 10 men after captain Paul Warhurst was sent off for a high challenge on Robbie Savage.

Bolton 0, Leicester 1 (latest)

Bolton's topscorer Michael Ricketts has scored at the wrong end of the field as things go from bad to worse for 10-man Bolton.

Bolton were reduced to 10 men after captain Paul Warhurst was sent off for a high challenge on Robbie Savage.

The game started badly when Ricketts made an impact of the wrong kind on his return when he was booked for a foul on Savage and Dennis Wise was also cautioned for dissent.

Neither side could take hold of the match during a very scrappy opening.

Akinbiyi shot well wide from around 25 yards out and Davidson cleared a dangerous centre from Ricketts in the only two moments of excitement.

Akinbiyi was then lucky to escape a booking, or even worse, when he pushed N’Gotty in the face, which did not go down well with the home fans.
