Eircom League: Dundalk win relegation battle

Martin Reilly hit a brace as Dundalk continued their fight against relegation with only their second win in twelve games.

Bottom side Monaghan wasted several good openings before falling behind on 37 minutes.

A sweeping four man move resulted in James Keddy putting Martin Reilly through on goal to shoot past Gareth Downey.

Garry Haylock sealed the points on 72 minutes with a terrific shot into the roof of the net from 25 yards.

Reilly then netted his third when running clear to volley home in stoppage time.
