Soccer: Kovacevic returns to Spain

Lazio have sold Darko Kovacevic to Real Sociedad in a deal worth just over £8m.

In a statement, Lazio said the player will be available to start for the Spanish side from January 2.

The Yugoslav joined Lazio at the start of the current season from Juventus.

The moves marks a return to Real Sociedad for Kovacevic, who was with them for three seasons before joining Juventus in 1999.
