Bradford City have today parted company with manager Jim Jefferies after just 14 months at the helm.

Jefferies took over in November of last year following the sacking of Chris Hutchings, but was unable to keep the Bantams in the Premiership, with Bradford eventually finishing bottom.

Placed under considerable financial constraints with regard to the signing of players, Jefferies has this season struggled with a small squad, with a string of poor results now leading to his departure.

Jefferies leaves just two days after assistant Billy Brown quit, claiming he ‘was unable to settle in Yorkshire’.
