Eircom League: Bohs get title defence back on track

Bohemians 2, Bray Wanderers 0 (full-time)

Bohemians made it two wins out of two under new boss Stephen Kenny as they got the defence of their title back on track.

Simon Webb hit the first goal as Bohs recorded only their second win in 15 league games.

Webb struck when his 35 yard free kick flew into the bottom right-hand corner of Matt Gregg's net a minute before the interval.

Glen Crowe and Trevor Molloy both missed chances to increase Bohs' lead early in the second half.

Jason Byrne then wasted Bray best opening on 67 minutes when his chip beat Wayne Russell but came back off a post.

Dave Morrison sealed the win when shooting home from Trevor Molloy's pass seven minutes from time.
