Sunderland's home clash with Everton will also be subject to an 11am pitch inspection.

Wintry conditions in the north-east have put the match at the Stadium of Light under threat, with Darlington's game against Cheltenham undergoing a 12.30pm inspection.

Another north-east club, Gateshead, have already fallen victim to the snow and their UniBond League clash with Hucknall has been postponed.

In Scotland, Alloa v Stranraer in Division Two has been postponed, while Third Division leaders Brechin's match against Stirling cannot go ahead either.

Three games in the Highland League have also been put back as a result of the elements north of the border.
