Lee Bowyer and Jonathan Woodgate are both in tomorrow’s squad for Leeds’ top-of-the-table clash with Newcastle at Elland Road.

Midfielder Bowyer, who was yesterday taken off the transfer list after agreeing to pay a fine of four weeks’ wages for breaching the club’s code of conduct, is fit again after missing the last seven weeks with a hamstring injury.

Centre-back Woodgate, who was last Friday found guilty of affray in relation to an assault on a student and ordered to serve 100 hours’ community service, has made just three appearances in the last 11 months due to the effects of the two trials.

With Alan Smith returning from a three-match ban, it means manager David O’Leary has the luxury of having four strikers available since the £11m arrival of Robbie Fowler nearly a month ago.

O’Leary, though, is still without Olivier Dacourt, Stephen McPhail, Lucas Radebe, Michael Bridges and Jacob Burns through injury.

Team (from): Martyn, Kelly, Harte, Woodgate, Keane, Viduka, Kewell, Bowyer, Wilcox, Smith, Mills, Bakke, Johnson, Matteo, Duberry, Batty, Fowler, Ferdinand, Robinson.
