Premiership: Ziege out of contention
Christian Ziege will still be missing from Tottenham’s team for the visit of Ipswich tomorrow despite having served his one-match ban for five yellow cards.
The German international is still troubled by a foot injury, which means that Simon Davies will continue at wing-back.
And 10-goal striker Les Ferdinand is rated only 50-50 to make the starting line-up after taking an enforced break from training this week to have fluid surgically drained from his damaged ankle. Sergei Rebrov stands by to replace him.
Ireland defender Gary Doherty is back in training after a breaking a leg in September and could play for the reserves in two weeks, but midfielder Stephen Clemence has had a double setback to his recovery from the medial knee ligament damage he suffered in August a groin strain and a bout of ’flu.
Centre-back Goran Bunjevcevic is still nursing a thigh injury.
