Premiership: Beckham back in business

David Beckham is set to return to the Manchester United line-up against Southampton tomorrow after being rested by manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

Ryan Giggs, a substitute in the 1-0 win over Middlesbrough, is also in line for a start for the first time in five weeks.

Fabien Barthez, who missed the Riverside Stadium match with a back injury, should replace Roy Carroll.

John O’Shea picked up a groin injury against Middlesbrough. Gary Neville is expected to partner Laurent Blanc in the centre of defence.
