Soccer:Parma sack coach Passarella

Italian Serie A side Parma have sacked their coach, Daniel Passarella, after the team recorded five consecutive league defeats.

Geodone Carmignani will take over as interim boss ahead of tonight’s game against Torino.

Passarella, a World Cup winning captain with Argentina, was only appointed coach at the beginning of November as a replacement for Renzo Ulivieri.
