The British Football Association is expected to follow up on two outstanding misconduct charges against Leeds striker Lee Bowyer after he was cleared of affray and causing grievous bodily harm at a court case last week.

The first charge relates to an incident during Leeds’ FA Cup game against Liverpool in January, when Bowyer elbowed Gary McAllister in the face.
