Soccer: Cheap flights proposed for World Cup

Cheap flights for travelling Irish fans to the World Cup in Japan could soon be on offer.

Cheap, no-frills flights travelling to Japan via Moscow, using Aerflot airlines, may be sold by Skynet airlines using two 737 jets.

As yet prices are unknown but are expected to be announced in the New Year.

Package trips to the finals costing thousands of pounds are already on sale with the main interest being from the corporate sector.
