Premiership: Ferdinand fitness battle
Les Ferdinand faces a battle to be fit to line up for Tottenham in tomorrow’s London derby at home to Fulham.
The 35-year-old striker aggravated an ankle injury as he grabbed a nine-minute hat-trick in Tuesday’s 6-0 Worthington Cup quarter-final win over Bolton, and will have treatment until the morning.
Dean Richards returns to the defence after being cup-tied, while Goran Bunjevcevic has an outside chance of recovering from a thigh injury. Christian Ziege serves a suspension after notching five yellow cards this season.
