World Cup: Gazza still wants to go to World Cup

Paul Gascoigne says he has not given up hope of making it to the World Cup finals in Japan and Korea.

However, he said that for the time being he is happy just to play his part in Everton's domestic campaign.

Gascoigne came on at half-time to inspire Everton to a 2-0 victory over Southampton after a woeful opening period at Goodison Park.

Tomasz Radzinski and Mark Pembridge got the goals, but it was Gascoigne who caught the eye.
