Eircom League: Shels within three points of leaders

Shels moved to within three points of leaders Shamrock Rovers thanks to

Peter Hutton's second half winner.

Hutton struck two minutes after the restart, begining and finishing a

sweeping move out of defence.

Wes Houlihan played the final pass with Hutton firing past Mark Cobey.

Cobey had been Galway's hero in the first half with a string of top saves.

Sub Derek O'Brien then almost snatched a late leveller for Galway but Steve

Williams turned his effort out for a corner.
