Premiership: Jeffers improving says Wenger

Arsene Wenger has shot down speculation that £8m striker Francis Jeffers needs an ankle operation and is out for the season.

But although the former Everton marksman and England Under-21 international is back in training with the Gunners there is still major concern at Highbury over the recurring ankle problem that dogged his fledgling career at Goodison Park.
