Soccer: Docherty - Ferguson should quit now

Former Manchester United manager Tommy Docherty has said current boss Alex Ferguson should quit following "a series of questionable decisions".

Docherty blamed Ferguson for United's recent slip in fortune, saying he has put together one of the worst defences in the club's history.

He described the decision to sell Jaap Stam to Lazio as an "absolute disaster" and, referring to the current back-line, he said: "I've never seen a defence as bad as that."
