Soccer: Taylor confirms PFA cash sum
Professional Footballers’ Association chief executive Gordon Taylor has revealed the organisation will receive £175m after agreeing a 10-year television deal with the Premier League and the Nationwide League.
Should television revenue be reviewed then for every 1% increase the players’ union would receive a further 0.75% of that figure.
And, following the PFA’s annual general meeting in Manchester today, it was revealed that for every 1% that TV revenue decreases during the 10-year period, the PFA’s share would fall by 0.5%.
