Premiership: Foxes close in on Deane deal

Middlesbrough striker Brian Deane is expected to complete his long-awaited move to Leicester later this week.

The two FA Barclaycard Premiership clubs have agreed an undisclosed nominal fee and Deane has confirmed he is now ready to join forces with Foxes boss Dave Bassett once again after the pair worked together at Sheffield United.
