The game was over as a contest by half-time with Rovers 3-0 up.

Their first goal arrived after just 90 seconds with Jason Colwell driving

home a superb shot from the edge of the area.

Tony Grant punished poor defending to shoot home the second goal on 16

minutes.

Another defensive blunder cost UCD a third goal on 44 minutes when Billy

Woods raced away to set up Sean Francis to score.

Terry Palmer put through his own goal on 77 minutes for UCD's consolation.
