Mark Dempsey's substitution got Bohemians out of jail for the second week

running.

Left-back Dempsey scored a vital equaliser in last week's 1-1 draw at

Monaghan United.

And last night he whipped over the free kick with his first touch following

his introduction on 71 minutes for Glen Crowe to head Bohs level.

Dundalk rode their luck to punish sloppy defending and snatch the lead on

29 minutes.

Michael Dempsey could only palm away James Keddy's corner and John Flanagan reacted well to drill the loose ball home.
