Soccer: Guardiola tests positive for nandrolone

Spanish midfielder Josep Guardiola has tested positive for the banned steroid nandrolone.

Guardiola, who plays for Italian club Brescia, failed a drugs test at an Italian league game last October and has since been suspended.

Guardiola is the third player in the Italian league to test positive for nandrolone in recent months after similar controversies surrounding Lazio defender Jaap Stam and Juventus’s Edgar Davids.
