The Eircom League match between Monaghan Utd and Bohemians has finished one goal apiece.

Scorers were Trevor Vaughan for Monaghan in the 49th minute and Mark Dempsey for Bohs in the 62nd minute.

In the first division, Athlone Town 2-1 won against Limerick. Scorers for Athlone were Stephen Mullen (36th min) and Brian Morris Roe (40th min).

Brendan Hughes put away Limerick's only score in the 65th minute.
