Anthony Buckley scored his first goal of the season to move Cork City up to

joint second in the Premier Division table.

Buckley struck six minutes after the break when beating Shay Kelly with a

superb 25 yard drive.

St Pat's, hoping to avoid a hat-trick of defeats, started brightly and Liam Kelly scored for the third match running to give them a 13th minute lead.

Noel Mooney could only palm away a cross under pressure from Paul Osam and Kelly shot home the loose ball.

James Mulligan levelled for City on 22 minutes when shooting home from close range from Alan Carey's cross.
