Wolves midfielder Mark Kennedy has withdrawn from the Ireland squad to play Iran in Lansdowne Road on Saturday because of a hamstring injury.

Wolves midfielder Mark Kennedy has withdrawn from the Ireland squad to play Iran in Lansdowne Road on Saturday because of a hamstring injury.

Blackburn’s Damien Duff has also withdrawn with a similar injury and manager Mick McCarthy is sweating on the fitness of Sunderland’s Kevin Kilbane and Millwall’s Steven Reid.
