Liverpool boss Gerard Houllier has admitted that Manchester United counterpart Sir Alex Ferguson was one of five Premiership matches to visit him in hospital.

Liverpool boss Gerard Houllier has admitted that Manchester United counterpart Sir Alex Ferguson was one of five Premiership matches to visit him in hospital.

Houllier returned home today after being discharged from Liverpool’s Cardiothoracic Centre less than three weeks after undergoing an 11-hour operation for a tear in the main artery taking blood away from the heart.
