Premiership: Frustration for Kilbane

Sunderland midfielder Kevin Kilbane is likely to be sidelined by an ankle injury for tomorrow’s match at Leicester.

The Republic of Ireland international has missed his side’s last two games with the problem he picked up in the 3-1 home defeat by Manchester United.

But compatriot Niall Quinn is fit after shaking off ankle and back injuries and could return to the starting line-up after being used only as a late substitute in the 1-1 draw with Arsenal last weekend.
