Chelsea’s Marcel Desailly has upped the ante in his row with Derby striker Fabrizio Ravanelli following their clash in yesterday’s Premiership tie in Pride Park.

Desailly has suggested that Ravanelli insulted him throughout yesterday’s game because of his inability to win a place on the Italian national team and because of Italy’s defeat to France in the Euro 2000 final.
