Soccer: Bruce rules out Brum switch

Crystal Palace boss Steve Bruce has dismissed reports linking him with a move to Birmingham and insists he is happy to stay at Selhurst Park.

Palace can go back to the top of Division One if they win at home to Norwich today and Bruce is adamant he intends to chase a Premiership place with his current club.

The former Manchester United defender said: ‘‘All the speculation surrounding Birmingham has been off-putting because it’s detracted from the players and what they’ve achieved.

‘‘I could have done without it. I’m extremely happy here. I want to manage in the Premiership and I’d love to take Crystal Palace there. End of story.’’
