Premiership: Quinn is Sunderland doubt
Sunderland striker Niall Quinn will be given until the last minute to prove his fitness ahead of tomorrow’s Premiership clash with former club Arsenal.
The Republic of Ireland frontman trained today in his bid to shake off back and ankle problems, but manager Peter Reid will leave the decision on whether or not he plays up to the player.
Brazilian defender Emerson Thome is back in contention following knee surgery, while former Blackburn midfielder Jason McAteer is likely to make his home debut.
