Premiership: Izzet hands in transfer request

Leicester midfielder Muzzy Izzet today handed in a transfer request and is now set to start a scramble for his services between Aston Villa and Leeds.

The Turkish international had made it clear two weeks ago that he was unhappy at Filbert Street and was to consider his future.
