Premiership: Carbone set for Derby switch

Derby have confirmed today they have agreed terms with First Division Bradford to bring Benito Carbone to Pride Park.

Manager Colin Todd is anxious to boost his squad in an attempt to drag the club away from the relegation zone.

He has targeted Carbone as one of the main players in his bid to lift the club up the Premiership table and final details of the deal should be tied up today.

Todd said: ‘‘Benito is the type of player we need at this football club because he is going to give us much needed momentum going forward.’’
