Lazio won this Champions League tie at the Olimpico stadium in Rome.

Lazio took the lead in on 39 mins when Stefano Fiore scored an excellent left-footed goal that gave the PSV keeper no chance.

Lazio then went two up from the spot as Yuri Nikiforov manhandled Inzaghi inside the box. Claudio Lopez converted the kick for the home side.

A minute later Heintze sent in a ball and Kezman finished coolly for what was to be a consolation goal for the visitors.
