Cork blew their chance to go top of the table as their unbeaten six-match

run came to a controversial end at the Brandywell.

Tommy McCallion shot Derry in front on 14 minutes for what proved the

winner. Cork failed to clear Sean Hargan's cross and McCallion shot home

from an angle.

Jamie Hughes and Liam Coyle hit the Cork woodwork before the break.

Cork dominated after the break as they chased the game and were furious

that a Pat Morley header wasn't allowed on 61 minutes after they were

adamant the ball had crossed the line.

The win moves Derry above Cork into fourth place.
