Soccer: Wenger hits back at contract snipers

Arsene Wenger admits he is furious about suggestions that his delay in signing a new contract at Highbury is threatening to destabilise his Arsenal team.

The Frenchman is clearly affronted by what he perceives as attacks on his personal integrity having said that it is only a matter of time before he formally puts his name to a two or three-year extension of his current Arsenal deal which runs out next June.
