Man Utd easily beat Ipswich with goals by Solskjaer (two), Johnsen and Cole while Finland's Litmanen gave Liverpool the points at home to Tottenham.

Elsewhere Blackburn beat Everton thanks to a goal by Grabbi while Leicester and Fulham played out a scoreless draw at Filbert Street.
