A brace of Sean Francis goals and a third from Terry Palmer put Shamrock

Rovers back on top of the Premier Division table.

Francis headed in his fourth of the season from Marc Kenny's corner to put

Rovers in front on 16 minutes.

UCD levelled on 43 minutes when Robert McAuley punished a defensive mix-up

between Tony O'Dowd and Pat Scully.

But another blunder at the other end involving Barry Ryan and Clive Delaney

gifted Francis his second as he restored Rovers' lead on 62 minutes.

Terry Palmer then headed home a Tommy Dunne free-kick for Rovers' third

goal 20 minutes from time.
