Premiership: Barmby dropped by Houllier

Liverpool boss Gerard Houllier has pulled former Everton star Nick Barmby out of his squad for today's Premiership Plus Merseyside derby in the wake of Tuesday's terrorist attacks in America.

Houllier, who wants the game postponed, is determined to ensure there is no ill feeling attached to the occasion as sport looks to at least offer a little light relief from the atrocities across the Atlantic.
