Eircom League: Cahill hat-trick gives Cork first win

Ollie Cahill grabbed a super hat-trick to kick-start Cork's season.

Saints bright start, when Mbabazi twice hit the City woodwork, counted for

little as Cork went in front with a wonder Ollie Cahill strike on 13 minutes.

Stephen O'Flynn flicked on keeper Michael Devine's kick-out for Cahill to score with a stunning 25 yard volley.

Pat Morley then put Cahill through for his second goal on 71 minutes.

A Derek Coughlan own goal got St.Pat's back into it three minutes later.

But Cahill had the last say when hitting his hat-trick two minutes from time.
