Premiership: Todd wants to leave Charlton

Charlton have denied reports that Andy Todd has been placed on the transfer list, but conceded that he has asked for a move.

He was not selected the first two Premiership games of the season.

A spokesperson told the club's website:

"The position is that Andy was not selected for the starting 11 for the Everton and Ipswich matches. As a result he submitted a transfer request on Friday and manager Alan Curbishley will discuss it with chairman Richard Murray this week."
