Soccer: Eriksson 'unsure' about Gerrard's fitness

Sven-Goran Eriksson says he isn't sure if Steven Gerrard will be fit for England's World Cup qualifier against Germany next week.

The England boss says he hasn't checked with Liverpool about the fitness of Gerrard, who he described as one of the best midfielders in Europe.
