Soccer: Hendry a doubt for Wanderers

Bolton boss Sam Allardyce will give veteran central defender Colin Hendry a late fitness test ahead of the game at Leicester City.

The Scottish international, who has been struggling to shake off a knee injury collected in a pre-season warm-up game at Southport last week, is the only real doubt for Wanderers.

Striker Dean Holdsworth, who scored twice for Bolton reserves this week, is unlikely to start after missing most of the club’s friendlies with a knee injury.

However, Allardyce is likely to find a place on the bench for the former Wimbledon striker.
