Soccer: Longford mistake gives UCD victory

UCD stole an unlikely win as they punished Town's only mistake of the match

on 59 minutes.

Paul McNally's poor pass was intercepted by John Martin who set up Ciaran

Martyn to drill home.

Town had run the game up to then. Henry Kenny rattled the UCD bar with a

header from Sean Prunty's cross on eight minutes.

Eric Lavine then twice came close; heading at Barry Ryan before Robert

McAuley bravely blocked a second effort.
