SPL: Amoruso ready to sign new Rangers deal
Former Rangers skipper Lorenzo Amoruso has revealed he intends to seal a contract extension deal within the next three weeks.
He has been on the verge of leaving Ibrox on a number of occasions.
But now he has announced that he would be happy to stay in Glasgow for another two or three years.
Amoruso told Rangers' official website: "Everything is going well in negotiations and I hope to sign in the next three weeks. We have been talking and I'd like to think the situation will be resolved soon."
USA international Claudio Reyna has also revealed that contract extension talks are well under way and both players are set to return from injury.
The duo are expected to rejoin the squad in time for Saturday's visit of Hibernian and the Champions League trip to Fenerbahce next week.
Amoruso suffered a thigh injury in the opening game of the season, the Champions League second qualifying round first leg in Maribor.
