Premiership: Veron set for Friday return

Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed that Juan Sebastian Veron, who missed the Charity Shield due to international duty with Argentina, would not be back in Manchester until next Friday.

The midfielder, still has a chance of playing in United's Premiership opener against Fulham next Sunday, but Ferguson will have to wait and see what sort of physical condition he returns in.
