Alan Kirby chipped them in front after an error by Michael Devine on 27 minutes.

Derek Coughlan then turned the ball into his own net from a Kirby cross four minutes later.

Within a further two minutes, skipper Wes Byrne crossed for Henry Kenny to powerfully head home the third.

Kirby then got his second on 80 minutes before James Mulligan snatched

City's consolation two minutes from the end.

In between, Town had Stuart Holt sent off within a minute of coming on as

an 87th minute substitute.
