Premiership: Police investigate Campbell 'death threats'

New Scotland Yard are "looking into" death threats reportedly made against Sol Campbell on an internet message board.

Campbell angered Spurs fans with his move from Tottenham to bitter rivals Arsenal earlier in the summer.

The defender has expressed the hope that Spurs fans will forgive him for his move but that now looks unlikely.

A Scotland Yard spokeswoman said: "We are just looking into it at the moment."
