Premiership: Kanu quashes quit claims

Nwankwo Kanu has moved quickly to quash rumours that he is ready to quit Arsenal.

Reports suggest Kanu will leave Highbury and move to Inter Milan, if he doesn't get regular first team football this season.

However Kanu is keen to fight the club's other four top strikers for a first team jersey.

Kanu said in a statement: "I do not know where these quotes have come from. They are untrue. I am happy at Arsenal and intend to fight for my place in the first team."
