Soccer: Coventry reject reports of Hartson transfer

Coventry City have denied reports that John Hartson is planning to discuss a move to Scotland with Celtic manager Martin O'Neill.

The Bhoys are believed to be interested in signing the striker, but Coventry have priced him at stg£7m.

Club chairman Bryan Richardson said: "After much persuasion by Gordon Strachan and myself, John Hartson decided two weeks ago to remain at Coventry."
