Soccer: Barthez stars in gr-eight United win

Fabien Barthez proved he could fill Ryan Giggs' boots after he played as an outfield substitute during Manchester United's 8-1 victory over Team Singapore.

The eccentric French goalkeeper realised his long-held ambition of playing outfield for United when he came on for the final eight minutes on the left wing.
